Jeff came to visit me for the week and it was so good to see him!
Saturday we did the Turibus (tourbus) to see an overview of the city. I didn't pick the best day, since a main road was closed for a parade and the Zocalo was closed for a concert, but we still saw a lot!
Among many things, we saw:
the Angel of Independence |
the Voladores (flyers) in Chapultepec Park |
lots of marigolds along the roads to lead the spirits home for Day of the Dead |
the man-made lake in Chapultepec Park |
Chapultepec Castle |
the feria of Chapultepec |
the Technology Museum |
multiple water god statues in Chapeltepec |
a man selling LOTS of cotton candy |
transportation safety at its finest (at least she was wearing a helmet) |
Palacio de Hiero shopping mall in Polanco |
don't remember what it's called, but more shops in Polanco |
large GM plant |
lots of people that waved at the bus |
bull fighting stadium |
Cruz Azul stadium |
UNAM |
UNAM Olympic Stadium |
Coyoacan |
