According to Iafrica.com the superstar diva Kylie Minogue is confirmed for South Africa in July!



The article reads...

"Kylie Minogue is set to play four shows in South Africa as part of her Aphrodite-Les Folies World Tour.

According to the Computicket website, the All The Lovers hitmaker is set to play two shows at Sun City Superbowl on 8 and 9 July 2011 before moving to the Grand Arena at Cape Town's Grand West on 13 and 14 July.

The world tour started on 19 February in Denmark and will play in arenas throughout Europe and Japan before hitting Canada, U.S., and Mexico"

Jealous much...of course I am! Half the country is most probably going to see the much anticipated U2 360 taking place tonight at the FNB Stadium in Soweto (also known as Soccer City) with gates opening at this very moment.

According to IOL "Fourteen state-of-the-art cameras, 150 tons of heavy metal digital cylinder screens and a mega-revved-up sound system – this is what’s in store for the almost 95 000 U2 fans who will be dancing under the special “The Claw” stage tomorrow evening"

To my Cape Town readers...hope you got your tickets cause U2 will be visiting next week Friday at the Green Point Stadium.

Lady Gaga chunked the head from a Santa doll halfway during her show after a fan threw the red and white doll onstage. Following this the superstar yelled into the crowd "I hate the holidays. I'm alone and miserable you fucking stuffed little toy"

Do we sense someone a bit overwhelmed by the craziness of her lifestyle?

As you know, Taylor Swift announced her Speak Now World Tour dates for next year and it seems that the world has gone dilly! Further to reports Taylor's show at L.A.'s Staples Center sold out within two minutes and the Gillette Stadium concert in Foxborough (capacity of 68,000 seats) maxed within five minutes. Okay, tell me - how hot is that..?

Furthermore, seven more shows of her upcoming world tour also filled up - congrats hun!

When are you coming to South Africa... so unfair, ffs!

Yawn....

It’s been confirmed that International pop rock sensation, Duran Duran has cancelled their South African tour due to some problems excuse with the tour promoter. According to news reports, the lead singer Simon Le Bon said “The worst part of this for us is disappointing our South African fans who we were really excited to be performing for again”

The South African tour that was due to start on 07 December 2010.

Wonder if ticket sales have anything to do with this…?

It is reported that the Swedish pop duo will be performing in Cape Town and Sun City during their May 2011 World Tour - their first World Tour in 16 years!

It is rumoured that Roxette will be releasing a brand new album next year.
