Congratulations to Kim Kardashian and NBA star, Kris Humphries on their engagement!
After six months of dating, one of the most beautiful women on the face of this earth is engaged to sport star (duh!) Kris Humphries. According to various online reports he covered her bedroom with rose petals spelling out "Will you marry me?" and along with this came a custom-made 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz ring. See below - to die!

Is it just me or was Kim always a bit on the desperate side when it came to boyfriends and marriage. Yet, we should add – we’re soooo very happy for her!

Okay get this... I got up this morning, grabbed my coffee and jumped back under my blanket (hello, it's winter in South Africa...)
Just to add, today is "obviously" a public holiday and the television is the next best thing on a early Friday morning. Watched some Pierce Morgan (this man pushes all my wrong buttons) with Sharon and Kelly Osbourne - followed by... the CNN 30 minute update on the Royal Wedding! Awesome!
So this morning on CNN the topic of discussion were the carriages and the Royal procession for this major event. An uncle (can't recall his name) gave us an inside look of the carriage which Prince William and Kate Middleton will leave Westminster Abbey for the big wedding bash.
Okay, to get to the point. The uncle showed us the little fold-out steps of the carriage - and with that, he also mentioned that Kate will most probably practice prior to the wedding to get in and out of the carriage... seeing that she will be wearing a dress with a LONG TRAIN.
Did this insider say too much or just an assumption.
Only time will tell, I guess...

South African model Lee Ann Liebenberg and business man Nicky van der Walt got married earlier today at a private location in Cape Town.
We're following all the latest news - but no details as yet. Oh, before I forget - what I can tell you is that no tweeting was allowed at the wedding - that's according to TV Plus editor, Andre Neveling.

South African supermodel and beauty, Lee Ann Liebenberg and fiancé Nicky van der Walt is getting married this Saturday at an undisclosed venue and apparently it’s going to be the wedding of the year!

South Africa's favourite singer, Kurt Darren is set to marry longtime girlfriend Dunay Nortje on Saturday. Although we don't have all the "deets" we know that it is somewhere in the bushveld.

There are rumours circulating the internet concerning the designer of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress… We have seen the designs by all major fashion houses and let’s be honest – we can’t see Kate in any of them.
Speculation has it that the “favourite” at this point in time is British designer, Bruce Oldfield who designed dressed for A-listers such as Kate Winslet, Diana Ross, Sienna Miller, Queen Rania just to name a few.
Poor Kate…must be a lot of pressure with the world waiting to scrutinizing every single pearl and diamond. However, if that’s what it takes to become a princess – then do it!

South African singer, Jacques Terre'Blanch and girlfriend-model Charné Jane Slee got engaged earlier this week! Jacques was the 3rd runner-up in South African Idol back in 2003 and Charné was the 2010 FHM Model of the year winner.

We're totally smitten with this couple and holy mother, look at the gorgeous bride-to-be Kate Middleton!

Prince William and Kate Middleton made their first public appearance last night since their engagement and my word, they look as happy as can be! The couple attended a charity event to raise funds in order to fund a cancer unit at a Cambridge hospital.
As mentioned previously, the couple will wed next year April at Westminster Abbey.
We would make a pretty bridesmaid...just a thought?

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden tied the knot yesterday in a very simple wedding held at dad, Lionel Richie's lavish Bevery Hills estate with only a mere 130 guests.
According to reports the media has gone ape-shit to feature the wedding and the couple decided to donate the money to charity. Furthermore it is said that Nicole and Joel are playing the magazines up against each other in order to negotiate a better deal - good for you both!
Gosh, sources said that they saw an elephent being led onto the property... wonder wtf that was for?
Anyway, we love Nicole - congrats to you both!
Can't wait to see the dress...
