I'm sick =( I knew it would happen eventually being in a new place, with a change of/changing weather, using public transportation, not so great air quality, etc -- just didn't think it would be in less than 3 weeks! Sore throat, congestion, and ability to sleep all day if I let myself.
It was frustrating because I didn't know how to find a doctor in case it got worse. I ended up seeing someone today though, somewhat by luck. My landlord came over to the apartment to check out the washing machine, which had been spazzing out, and I asked about finding a doctor. Apparently my neighbors are doctors, so she knocked on the door to see if they were around. The doctor came over and ended up prescribing some over the counter stuff (though I'm still looking for 1 that wasn't at the 3 pharmacies I tried).
It's harder being sick in a new place, away from family and friends and not really knowing how things work. But it's worked out so far and I have my roommate checking in on me through gchat, Cindy with advice from Cuernavaca, and I ate some delicious cappuccino ice cream tonight (that's what you do when your throat hurts, right?).
