Sometimes my mind gets stuck in a place between Spanish and English.
The other day while walking to the bus I saw an advertisement for apartments that said "preventa departamentos." My first thought was, why do they want to prevent these apartments from being built? I then laughed at myself as I realized it was (obviously) preventa (pre-sale, selling the apartments before they're built/ready).
