The animated musical Tangled has kicked Harry Potter's sweet money-making ass from the number one spot at the American Box Office....
The race over for Harry Potter and friends?
With an estimated sales of $ 21.5 milliion the animated movie adaptation of Rapunzel has topped the US Box Office over a weekend which was considered a "slow" weekend. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 took second place with ticket sales of $16.8 million and tied in third were Christina Auiglera's Burleseque and Jake Gyllenhaal's Love And Other Drugs alongside Anne Hathaway.
According to reports the latest art house movie Black Swan has also brought in impresive numbers considering that the movie is only showing at selected theaters....
We guess that the young wizard should get his spells in order, cause Rapunzel got his ass all tied up!
